A journalist with 20 years' experience writing features for national newspapers, magazines and websites, including the Guardian, Observer, Financial Times, South China Morning Post, Food and Travel, Time Out and Expedia. Described by Graham Hayday, head of studio at Guardian Labs as “the perfect freelancer in these multimedia times”, Antonia also scripts and presents, takes photographs and records audio. A specialist in travel and international development issues, her work has taken her to a mud hut in Rwanda, a rainforest in Mozambique and an island in Lake Malawi.

Antonia has also worked on a number of desks of national newspapers, primarily the Guardian, as an editor, desk editor, chief subeditor and subeditor, and you may occasionally be able to convince her to come into the office.
